How real estate agency Ajax reduced intern turnover and improved its training system with Talent Rocks
Trainees are hit with a flood of information: standards, rules, sales and communication training, business specifics and paperwork. How does a digital platform help them get through onboarding and keep new hires at the company?
Client
Ayaks is one of the largest real estate agencies in southern Russia. Since 1998, the company has opened 24 sales offices with more than 850 agents. The company keeps expanding and opening new offices, including in Moscow.
The Ayaks training center has six business trainers. The company also brings in outside specialists and takes part in open training sessions and master classes.
Challenge
Most of the team are real estate agents. But despite the high quality of training and the large number of programs, far from all new hires completed onboarding in their first three months.
One reason was that training was tied to the office, where employees could turn to a business trainer, manager, mentor or the LMS. New hires couldn’t study the company’s policies, scripts and client-handling methods at a convenient time or in their free time.
The company needed a mobile platform that would meet several needs at once:
- Learning anytime, anywhere and at any pace
Besides training courses, it also had to store additional materials, such as company work standards or policies. - Real-time tracking of trainee progress
Including progress along individual learning tracks and detailed engagement analytics. - Various types of motivation
Including game elements, a leaderboard and achievement system, community support and automatic reminders.

AYAKS Real Estate Agency
Our company has a mission: “We improve people’s lives by providing quality service.”
So I started looking at trainees as clients who also deserve a high level of service. And I concluded that a mobile learning platform is a way to always be there for employees and provide them with training content.
Solution
Using the Talent Rocks platform, the company created its own mobile hub, “My Ayaks.” It runs several systems at once that help employees get through onboarding.
- A program schedule with detailed information about each session.
- Push notifications reminding employees to take a test or to start or finish a program.
- Mobile courses and quizzes, surveys and assessments.
- A knowledge base, answers to the most common questions and additional materials.
- A news feed with important announcements, plus chats.
- The option to sign up for training sessions and courses.
- A leaderboard system that boosts engagement in learning.
Trainers can now get quick feedback on courses and detailed learning statistics. They see which trainees haven’t completed the required program.

We got more from the platform than we expected. Now “My Ayaks” is used not only by trainees but by all company employees, since it’s an effective tool for promoting and supporting corporate standards and company culture.
And I think mobile platforms and apps are the future for a great many companies.
Summary
In just six months with the Talent Rocks platform, the number of employees successfully completing onboarding grew by 10%.
And mentors gained a tool for working with new hires more effectively.
