How Drivee automated onboarding and reduced the HR workload
Manual processes — calls, notes and Excel — were limiting Drivee’s ability to scale training. The team set out to automate onboarding and make it equally high-quality for employees in dozens of cities.
Client
Drivee is a taxi and courier delivery service. Users propose their own price for a ride or delivery in the app, and drivers can accept it or counter with their own — both sides choose the option that works for them.
The company operates in more than 100 cities across Russia and is scaling fast. Its core team includes tech support, marketing, IT, developers and back office.
Challenge
Before Talent Rocks, onboarding was chaotic: calls, notes, Excel spreadsheets and information scattered across different places. New hires struggled to find their way, and HR spent a lot of time supporting them.
Drivee originally planned to build only an onboarding track, but along the way the team decided to implement a full-fledged LMS.
“As we worked, we quickly realized we needed a full-fledged LMS, not a standalone tool. In the end, the project grew far beyond the original request.”
Solution
Most of the learning process has now moved to an online track: employees learn on their own, and mentors step in as needed.
Marketing, development, back office and business units use Talent Rocks for onboarding and for soft skills learning marathons. Some processes run in the mobile app and others in the web version, in line with security requirements.
“Now people study the materials on their own, and specialists step in only for complex questions. This has really freed up a lot of resources.”
Gamification
To boost engagement, the platform has a non-monetary rewards system. Employees automatically earn points for activity: completing courses, joining webinars and finishing assignments.
70% of users actively earn points and take part in the leaderboard. At the end of the year, the employees with the most points receive nice prizes and recognition from their colleagues.

Results
In the first six months after launch, Drivee reports:
- significant time savings for training specialists;
- a better new hire experience — everything is structured and in one place;
- a user-friendly platform: employees give it an average of 5.0 for ease of use, 4.8 for stability and 4.7 for interface;
- a high employee sign-in rate, even though many are only just getting started with the system;
- positive feedback from internal teams.
In 2026, the company plans to enable more features, including a manager dashboard and advanced analytics
“Employees note how easy and convenient the platform is; the average rating from colleagues is 5.0. It helps them get up to speed on their tasks faster and feel supported.”

Olesya Monakhova
EdTech methodologist, Talent Rocks“At the start of the project, we prepared a pilot onboarding path based on our expertise and understanding of the client’s business processes. It covered the key points of the new hire journey. We then trained the team to use the admin panel and course editor, after which the Drivee team was able to fill the platform on their own: they partly used ready-made courses, gradually refined their materials and grew their content base.
Today, the onboarding track on the platform lasts three months. Learning paths, tests, assignments, surveys and the leaderboard are all actively used. Some time later, a Soft Skills marathon was also launched, covering critical thinking, emotional intelligence, goal setting, productivity and communication. At every stage, participants get hands-on assignments and a chance to earn points. And the app is home to Kitty the Mascot, who has become participants’ favorite character and guides them through onboarding and training. We love him too 🙂
We hold regular meetings with the Drivee team, answer their questions and tell them about new platform features. For example, we recently expanded our mentoring support significantly, which opens up new opportunities for the project.”
