Ultra Fitness is a young, fast-growing fitness club chain in the Volga region. The company is opening new locations (Penza in 2025, with a new club planned in Ulyanovsk) and actively hiring. It already has more than 240 employees, and as the team grew, it needed to systematize business processes and standardize training.

Challenge

Before rolling out the Talent Rocks app, the company had no single LMS. Each club ran its processes its own way, and policies were kept on paper and not fully used. Ultra Fitness chose and joined the Talent Rocks platform on its own to develop employee training and onboarding.

As the chain grew and opened new locations, questions arose:

  • How to onboard new employees quickly;
  • How to check that work standards are learned;
  • How to create a single knowledge base for trainers, administrators, sales managers and executives;
  • How to engage employees in training through gamification.

Our team is young. Nobody is going to read stacks of policies on paper. We needed to make training convenient and engaging, with visuals and gamification.

Solution

For Ultra Fitness, we deployed a branded mobile app and a web version on the Talent Rocks platform.

Features used:

  • Learning paths for onboarding and role induction;
  • A knowledge base with policies, codes of conduct, video lessons and webinars;
  • Assignments and tests to check understanding;
  • Leaderboards and points (with an internal currency, the “ultrik”);
  • Manager dashboards to monitor training at each club.

Our account manager helped set up the app, was always available and gave consultations on new features. This service support was one of the key reasons for choosing Talent Rocks.

It matters a lot that we have our own branded mobile format: employees open the app and see “Ultra Fitness” in our brand colors. And if a question comes up, we can quickly message our Talent Rocks manager and get support.

Results

New hire onboarding now follows learning paths with videos and tests.

New locations (such as the Penza club with 100 employees) launch faster, since all standards are available in the app.

Managers get analytics on program completion.

Employees stay engaged through points and leaderboards.

All training is now in one place: videos, tests and the knowledge base. No need to cobble together Yandex Forms or track everything manually.

Summary

Ultra Fitness turned scattered training processes into a single digital system. The fitness club chain keeps growing and plans to expand its use of the platform: adding courses, introducing new learning formats and launching an internal store where employees can pay with the internal currency.

EdTech Methodologist, Talent Rocks

“Before the project started, we ran a free 30-day trial so the Ultra Fitness team could test the app’s capabilities and see how well it fit their needs.

The company already had its own onboarding and training materials. Our role was to help move them into a modern digital format and provide tools and support. We helped set up the platform, trained the administrators and advised on new features, which we release every quarter.

Ultra Fitness now actively uses smart groups, learning paths, assignments, standalone courses and the manager dashboard. The platform hosts a knowledge base with books, videos and documents. There’s a leaderboard too: for example, employees receive bonus points on their birthday.

We’re always in touch: we answer questions, share new platform features and suggest fresh solutions. This support helps Ultra Fitness get the most out of Talent Rocks.”
